I really don't know what I'm doing here. Before I met my friend Danielle I had no idea what a blog was.....but thanks to her, I'm addicted to them. I love reading about decorating, cooking, photography and scrapbooking. Thankfully my life is not very exciting, but sometimes things happen that are share worthy.
Today's story happened after school. I was in my room surfing blogs and I can hear the kids talking to Larry. They are saying, "it looks like a mouse." (Mind you---I thought it was something on tv, so I was OK with this conversation.) Next I hear-"Yeah, it's a real one. On the couch". I guess our furry friend somehow ended up behind the couch....where my youngest saw it and thought I had bought a new toy for our cat. So, she decided to pick it up so he (the cat)could play with it. When she realized it was real and in her hand she quickly put it on the couch. Now to a normal person, this might not have been a big deal. But I'm not a normal person. I have such a deep fear of mice that I have been held hostage in my room by a mouse blocking my door. I am the person who will jump on top of furniture to avoid mice.
Luckily the hubster has no problem with mice and is quick to dispose of the bodies. Because Amanda didn't scream when she touched a real mouse, I thought she was taking after her daddy. That was, until she told me she had to take a bath to get the rabies off of her.
